The city of Michigan City/ Local area welcomed the race teams with big smiles and a friendly atmosphere that every team could feel. It was such a great experience that everyone is looking forward to returning next year. The Crazy Chicken took a second place in a close battle with their competitors on Lake Michigan in front of a crowd of 60 thousand plus fans. Racing the waters on Lake Michigan was a new different experience for The Crazy Chicken. It was very rough,and different than ocean racing according to Chicken driver, Dee Early, and Chicken throttleman, Tony Canale. We will take the knowledge and experience to race a competitive race there again next year. After Michigan City the Crazy Chicken is in a tie for 1st place for the Nationals Championship with 3 races to go. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at New York on the Hudson, September the 11 - 15 with us challenging for the National Title. Look forward To seeing you there!!!
